Now is likely the right time to re-start talks on the political tract to solve the Syrian crisis, UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura told reporters after a UN Security Council meeting.

UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) — It is time to consider the possibility of resuming negotiations, said the UN special envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

"Perhaps now is the time to actually look seriously at the possible renewal of where and how we can have a political discussion," de Mistura said on Thursday.
